Birdy — Strange Birds

Жасмин ван ден Богард (Jasmine Van den Bogaerde), также известная под своим сценическим псевдонимом Birdy (псевдоним Birdy (англ. птичка) — её детское прозвище, данное родителями), известна своей победой в музыкальном конкурсе Открытый микрофон (Open Mic UK — http://www.openmicuk.co.uk/) Великобритании в 2008 году, в возрасте 12 лет. Её версия Bon Iver — «Skinny Love», выпущенная в 2011 году, была ее первым хитом на британских чартах музыки и достигла 17 места в хит-параде Великобритании и возглавила хит-парад Нидерландов. Песня была включена в ротацию на радио BBC Radio. Режиссёром видеоклипа «Skinny Love» стала Софи Мюллер, известная по работе над клипами Софи Эллис-Бекстор (Sophie Ellis-Bextor), No Doubt, Garbage, Blur, Энни Леннокс (Annie Lennox), Eurythmics и других.
Песня также прозвучала в эпизоде «The Sun Also Rises» телесериала «Дневники вампира» (http://www.kinopoisk.ru/film/453191/); Ещё одна песня — кавер-версия «Shelter» группы The xx прозвучала в эпизоде «The End of the Affair».

Birdy родилась 15 мая 1996 года в Лимингтон, Англия. Семья Жасмин имеет английские, фламандские, бельгийские и голландские корни. Ее мать пианистка, и девушка научилась играть на фортепиано в возрасте пяти лет, а писать свою собственную музыку начиная с семи. Birdy в настоящее время учится в Priestlands School в Лимингтоне, небольшой государственной школе, которая специализируется на выполнении и изобразительном искусстве.

Дебютный альбом Birdy, так и названный — Birdy, состоящий из кавер-версий и одного оригинального трека, вышел 7 ноября 2011 года и достиг 13 места в хит-параде Великобритании, 40 в Ирландии и вошёл в топ-10 в Бельгии и Нидерландах, а в Австралии занял 1 место.
В марте 2012 года Birdy записала песню «Just a Game» для саундтрека фильма «Голодные игры» — The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond (http://www.kinopoisk.ru/film/468581/), а в июне — песню «Learn Me Right» в дуэте с группой Mumford & Sons для саундтрека мультфильма «Храбрая сердцем» (http://www.kinopoisk.ru/film/409118/). 7 августа 2012 года вышел мини-альбом «Live in London», в который вошла кавер-версия «The A Team» Эда Ширана (Ed Sheeran). 29 августа Birdy выступила на церемонии открытия XIV Летних Паралимпийских игр с кавер-версией песни «Bird Gerhl» группы Antony and the Johnsons.
Помимо сольного исполнения, Birdy вместе со своим братом выступает в группе Native Roses.

Beautiful Song by Jasmine

(+) original edition (+) only 4 pages, turning over not required (-) missining secound voice in refrain and verse 2 (-) piano intro of Birdys Live Performances is prettier than the the CD track version like written down here (-) . Verse 2 ist written down below Verse 1 but rhythm and notes have to be different in Verse 2 for a correct notation
