How to play this sheet music

This song follows the traditional model for the pop form. Its rhythmic basis is sustained throughout, so the LH’s principal duty will be to provide a rock-steady footing.
Black Swan score requires arduous effort. I will ad an easier one if this page will be popular.

Piano Playing Method

Accuracy in articulation is essential for playing Black Swan piano sheet music.
Your tone should be warm and gentle. It should impart the lilting feel of a lullaby. Figuratively speaking, you should communicate a sense of comfort, ease, or pleasantness. To sound quietly, keep your fingers close to the keys and do some firm practice from the knuckles.
The articulation in this piece is tricky because it alternates between legato and staccato.
Accent every note, varying the accents each time you play. Once played lightly and up to speed, the ornament should flow naturally.
It’s worth trying out this technique for the entire song.

Among the hardest facets of piano playing is controlling a lightness of attack, and when coupled with playing at a faster speed, a reliable warm-hearted leggiero touch must rank as among the most prized piano skills.

The patterns in verses can become repetitive if not coloured imaginatively and played with rhythmic stamina.

Right Hand

Listen to the actual track Black Swan as you begin to learn the arrangement, in order to balance parts in left and right hands.

In playing any piano transcription of a song, the aim is to give the impression of singers (the RH) that is being accompanied by a sensitive pianist (the LH). Imagine a duet between a band and a singer, so color the two hands differently. Coordinating the parts may take some time to organise convincingly.

The RH here plays a melody (topline) and the LH provides some harmony (accompaniment). First separate the melody from the accompaniment in the LH. Try singing the melody as you play, so you can mentally separate the topline from the accompaniment in the LH.

Practise slowly at first, giving a distinct emphasis on the topline while playing the accompaniment as gently and as evenly as possible.

Don’t forget to bring dynamic colour to your performance by quickly moving from piano to forte; play every new part with different volume.

Left Hand

After getting familiar with the RH, focus on the LH. The LH is generally soft throughout. This is one of those pieces where the bulk of the practising will be devoted to an accompaniment.

A relaxed wrist will help you to balance sound so that all notes sound with the same volume.
Make full use of the pedal when calculating how best to present BTS composers’ ingenious harmonies.
The music features an Alberti bass (a broken chord or arpeggiated accompaniment built from triads), and this can be learned easily by memorising them as a chord. Avoid tension in the wrist and hand (a danger with repeated patterns) by releasing the muscles swiftly.
Practise the LH alone here to ensure a rich and mellow bass.

Pedal

This piece certainly benefits from the added warmth of the pedal, but keep control of your pedalling and listen carefully for any smudges.

BTS — Black Swan

Bangtan Boys (кор. 방탄소년단 , Bangtan Sonyeondan, пандан сонёндан), также известные как BTS, — южнокорейская хип-хоп группа, сформированная агентством BigHit Entertainment и состоящая из семи участников. Дебют группы состоялся 13 июня 2013 года с песней «No More Dream». Название группы означает «пуленепробиваемые».

Изначально группа должна была дебютировать в 2011 году, но дебют постоянно откладывали. За 2 года произошли изменения в составе группы. После дебюта BTS быстро получили известность и стали лучшими «новичками» 2013 года.

Предебют

Первые члены группы были отобраны через прослушивания «Hit It», которое агентство BigHit устраивало во многих городах Южной Кореи — Сюга был выбран в качестве стажёра в провинции Кенсан, а Ви — в городе Тэгу. Чимин был отобран через частное прослушивание. До стажерства Чин был студентом и изучал актёрское искусство, его поймали на улице и предложили пройти прослушивание.

Рэп-монстр на тот момент уже был андеграундным рэпером и выпустил несколько неофициальных треков, в том числе и с участием Zico (Зико) из Block B.

Прежде чем стать стажером, Джей-Хоуп проходил прослушивание в JYP и был частью уличной танцевальной команды Neuron.

Самый молодой участник группы — Чонгук — после прослушивания на «SuperStars K3», стал стажером BigHit Entertainment.

Изначально дебют группы должен был состоятся в 2011 году в составе двух участников — Рэп-монстра и бывшего стажера Чон Хончоля, затем состав Bangtan поменяли на состав 9 человек, но так как один из них вскоре ушёл в другое агентство, как и Supreme Boi, группа окончила набор в состав из 7 человек, но из-за различных и частичных изменений в составе, дебют группы постоянно откладывали.

Дебют

Дебютный сингл группы «2 COOL 4 SKOOL» и первый музыкальный клип на песню «No More Dream» был выпущен 12 июня 2013 года, а 13 июня группа официально дебютировала с песней «No More Dream» на музыкальном шоу «M! Countdown». 16 июля компания представила клип на трек «We Are Bulletproof Pt.2».

2013—2014

11 сентября 2013 года BTS официально вернулись на музыкальную сцену со своим первым мини-альбомом «O!RUL8,2?», где заглавным треком была выбрана песня «N.O», на которую вышел музыкальный клип. В конце 2013 года на крупной церемонии MelOn Music Awards группу признали самым ярким дебютом года.

К 12 февраля 2014 года вышел второй мини-альбом «Skool Luv Affair» с клипом на заглавную песню «Boy In Luv», а 20 августа выходит первый полноформатный альбом «Dark&Wild», с клипом на заглавную песню «Danger». Также 21 октября выходит клип под названием «War Of Hormone», трек из первого полноформатного альбома «Dark&Wild».

За год группа успела выступить на таких крупномасштабных концертах, как KCON in LA, MAMA 2014 вместе с участниками группы Block B и др. Так же, для активного развития, группа проходила стажировку в США у самых известных хип-хоп исполнителей. Весь процесс стажировки был предоставлен телезрителям в формате развлекательного шоу на канале Mnet — «BTS American Hustle Life». Под конец года группа провела череду концертов «The Red Bullet».

В 2015 группа начала резко набирать популярность, особенно в заграничном фандоме. Год для BTS начался сразу с трёх побед на церемониях — Bonsang Award, Album Award и World Rookie Award. С 10 по 19 февраля группа провела концерты в Японии — «1st JAPAN TOUR 2015 「WAKE UP:OPEN YOUR EYES」», в марте BTS провели концерты «BTS LIVE TRILOGY: EPISODE I. BTS BEGIN» в Сеуле.

29 апреля BTS вернулись на сцену с новым мини-альбомом «The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt.1» (кор. 화양연화 ) и с клипом на заглавную песню «I NEED U». Группа получила множество положительных отзывов об альбоме, так как в этот раз стиль отличался от прошлых работ BTS, что никак не могло не порадовать фанатов. 5 мая 2015 года группа впервые получила первое место на музыкальном шоу «The Show». 30 ноября BTS вернулись с новым альбомом «The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt. 2» (кор. 화양연화, Pt. 2 ) и с клипом на заглавную песню «Run». Было куплено 81 948 копий альбома за первую неделю продаж. Альбом попал в международный чарт iTunes и сразу же расположился на 13 строчке. Это самая высокая позиция, которую когда-либо занимал азиатский исполнитель в этом чарте.

19 апреля BTS выпустили клип к песне «Young Forever» из заключительного альбома трилогии «화양연화 The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever». 2 мая вышел клип на заглавную песню «Fire», собравший 4 миллиона просмотров за 2 дня.
