Piano day 2021. Всемирный фестиваль фортепиано
Piano Day — ежегодный международный праздник фортепианной музыки, основанный группой единомышленников немецкого композитора Нильса Фрама в 2015 году. Он проводится во всех уголках мира каждый 88-й день года — согласно числу клавиш на фортепиано.
Задача фестиваля — создание платформы для проектов, связанных с фортепиано, продвижение, развитие и продолжение обмена многовековым опытом фортепианного искусства. Piano Day приглашает всех любителей фортепиано на концерты в городах, заявленных на участие.
Нильс Фрам, композитор, инициатор проекта:
— Почему миру нужен Piano Day? По многим причинам. Но, в первую очередь, для чествования самого инструмента и всех, кто с ним связан: исполнителей, композиторов, создателей фортепиано, настройщиков, и, самое главное, слушателей.
28 марта по всему миру пройдут самые разнообразные мероприятия, в основе которых – выступления современных пианистов.
Приглашаем на Всемирный фестиваль фортепиано в Доме архитектора — свои трогательные, волнующие и фантастически красивые произведения вам представят молодые композиторы Денис Стельмах, Игорь Хабаров и Илья Поляков.
Гениальная авторская музыка, импровизации, необъятная гамма эмоций и чувств. Этот потрясающий музыкальный праздник точно войдёт в историю культурной жизни Москвы.
Денис Стельмах. Музыка Дениса – грустная и лиричная, свободная и чистая, глубокая и прозрачная. Музыка без слов, наполненная смыслом и рассказами о переживаниях композитора. Заключённые в изящную эмбиентно-фортепианную звуковую оболочку, эти композиции навевают яркие ностальгические образы давно ушедших времён беззаботного детства и цветущей глубокими чувствами юности, когда каждый день казался нам предвестником чего-то воистину удивительного, нового и светлого.
Игорь Хабаров. Отрицает любые попытки использования аудиоаппаратуры и синтезированного звука. Игорь — строгий адепт акустики: он выжимает максимум возможностей из концертного рояля. Благодаря математическому складу ума он выработал собственный творческий подход, основанный на синергии точных закономерностей музыкальной гармонии и свободного полёта композиторской мысли.
Илья Поляков. Полное погружение в многообразие эмоций. Одни композиции Ильи дают расслабиться и предаться фантазиям, а другие вводят в глубокую задумчивость. Премьера альбома «Around the clock» — нескольких переплетённых друг с другом произведений, символизирующих смену дня и ночи, противостояние света и тьмы. Как наполнить яркими красками каждый день своей жизни? Илья призывает зрителей максимально открыться всей гамме чувств, каждое из которых он виртуозно превращает в музыку прямо на их глазах.
Центральный дом архитектора (ЦДА) — штаб-квартира Союза Московских архитекторов, место встреч профессионалов и любителей архитектуры и всего, что с ней связано. Здесь выступали не только ведущие российские архитекторы, но и звёзды мировой архитектуры — Заха Хадид, Арата Исодзаки, Бьярке Ингельс, Рем Кулхаас, Массимилиано Фуксас и многие другие.
Архитектурный ансамбль состоит из трёх комплексов разных стилей и разного времени, гармонично связанных друг с другом. I комплекс — особняк конца XIX века — построен в псевдоготическом стиле для жены потомственного почётного гражданина города Анны Луизы Леман. После революции в нём помещалось французское посольство. В 1937 году особняк был передан Союзу архитекторов СССР. II комплекс — центральная часть ЦДА. В 1938-41 гг. к переданному СА СССР особняку XIX века был пристроен новый корпус со зрительным залом и рестораном. 15 февраля 1941 года состоялось официальное открытие Центрального Дома архитектора. III комплекс с конференц-залом на 150 мест и выставочным залом был построен в 1980 году.
Помимо основной профильной деятельности в Центральном Доме архитектора проводятся мероприятия, относящиеся к другим областям искусств, а также просветительской и научно-познавательной сферам. С концертами здесь выступали Государственный академический большой симфонический оркестр им. П.И. Чайковского под руководством Владимира Федосеева и Музыкальный коллектив Петра Налича. В выставочных залах Центрального дома архитектора проводились многочисленные выставки.
Центральный дом архитектора открыт для всех, кого интересует архитектурная и художественная жизнь Москвы.
Организаторы гарантируют, что количество посетителей мероприятия не будет превышать 50 % от общей вместимости зала, будет соблюдено условие социального дистанцирования и другие санитарно-эпидемиологические нормы и требования, введённые в связи с пандемией коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19.

Piano Day, an annual worldwide event founded by a group of likeminded people, takes place on the 88th day of the year – in 2022 it’s the 29th March – because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated.
The aim of the day is to create a platform for piano related projects in order to promote the development of musical dimensions and to continue sharing the centuries-old joy of playing piano. Piano Day welcomes all kinds of piano lovers — young and old, amateur and professional, of any musical direction – to join in. It is intended to be the most joyful of all holidays!

The desire to celebrate this versatile instrument is growing greater than ever, and we were delighted to list more than 50 piano-related events for Piano Day 2021 and feature more than 300 piano pieces submitted by artists from all across the world in the official Piano Day playlist.

PIANO MUSIC
Piano players, whether amateur and professional, of any age, or any musical persuasion have kindly shared their specially composed pieces with the piano lovers all over the globe. Listen to the last years Piano Day playlist of these tracks:
GIVE A PIANO
There are so many pianos that are not being played for several reasons: they are broken, stored in piano shops or used as items of furniture rather than a musical instruments. At the same time there are loads of talented pianists who have no possibility to own a piano. Piano Day gives an opportunity for the holders of the unused pianos to place them where they can be enjoyed by a lot of people. Everybody who wants to share the joy of playing and listening to piano music is invited to participate and take action!
For the 2015 and 2016 editions, Nils Frahm released some special Piano Day treats. “Solo” and “Solo—Remains” are still available for free download in 24bit and mp3 format.
“In the end, every album production leaves you with the same tough task – making the choices for the final track selection. You leave out some tracks for various reasons: some of the tracks are wonderful by themselves, but they simple don’t fit anywhere in the album and others have to be left out because otherwise the vinyl would become too long for a cut in good quality. However, these outtakes are often as important as the final selection and I thought, they might be a great surprise for Piano Day too. I hope in this case, it’s both …“
KLAVINS M450
The first project revealed by the Piano Day team in 2015 was the building of what will be the world’s tallest piano, the Klavins M450 designed by the visionary piano builder David Klavins.
Unlike traditional concert grand pianos, which are usually built horizontally, this giant is orientated vertically. Weighing nearly a tonne and standing at 4.5m high the M450 stretches over two floors, a design that allows the strings to vibrate better. However, the project is not about setting world records in terms of size. The aim of it is to expand and go to the not yet reached physical limits of the piano instrument and it’s sound and thereby opening doors to new musical possibilities and dimensions.
Because of it’s much longer strings and larger soundboard among other factors, the sound of the M450 will be characterised by an even clearer sound with a lot more depth and richness of overtones, producing an unrivaled large harmonic spectrum and intensity of tone, which will increase the musical capabilities of the piano, for modern music in particular. M450 is meant to continue the centuries-old history of the piano instrument and and it´s evolution which had rather stagnated in recent decades.
