Нужны советы по сабжу. Основные требования очевидны: максимальное качество звука и сборки в ценовой категории. В данном случае в диапазоне 20-28 тыс. руб.

Пока рассматриваю следующие варианты:

Tokai ES-60
Реплика Gibson ES-335 от японской фирмы Tokai, собранная на китайской фабрике компании. Однако, эту гитару много хвалят за качество сборки и звук, максимально приближеный к оригиналу. В Москве, где я и собираюсь приобретать инструмент, она даже практически есть в наличии:

Semi-hollow модель от Эпифона. Радует, что не только на оф. сайте (где отзывы запросто могут подчищаться) люди пишут, что Корея собирает Эпифоны на удивление добротно. Упоминается в прайсе Музторга, правда в наличии ее нет и послушать ее мне тоже пока не довелось.

Epiphone Riviera
Не встречающаяся в московских магазинах модель, которую использовали, из тех, чье звучание мне особенно близко, The Sonics (культовый гаражный рок/протопанк).

Если рассматривать покупку нового инструмента, то на оф. сайте предлагается модель, раскручиваемая благодаря упоминанию имени гитариста The Strokes. В США должна стоить как Sheraton II и следующая по списку модель. Отличается от них, например, звукоснимателями (синглами P-94 вместо хамбэкеров)

Кроме того, что Эпифон опять пытается раскрутить модель за счет сходства (внешнего ) с любимой гитарой известной личности, эта модель может обратить на себя внимание тем, что при наличии пустот в корпусе, у этой модели отсутствуют эфы. Отсюда меньшая вероятность фидбэка и возможность выжать серьезный дисторшн.
(хотя я выбираю semi-hollow как раз из-за желания извлекать теплый глубокий чистый звук и винтажный овердрайв)
В России за новую (без возможности послушать) хотят около 33к.

Итак, пока кроме инфы из демо (порой слишком скупых) на ютьюбе и текстовых (к счастью, развернутых) ревью я мало что знаю

В магазине слушал из таких гитар только знаменитую Epiphone Casino. Она удивляет многих отличной сборкой даже в корейском варианте, однако ее полностью полый корпус должен накладывать серьезные ограничения при игре с перегрузом, а мне бы хотелось его использовать.

В целом, я вижу явную наценку и отсутствие ассортимента со стороны наших дилеров, но не знаю, удобно ли заказывать гитары из Америки (и как решать вопрос прослушивания и прощупывания инструмента) и не разговаривал с продавцами б/у инструментов из Японии.

After the ES series’s success, Gibson went a step further for musicians who wanted that same 1930s style but with the same versatility and comfort of new solid guitars.
