Lauren Christy родилась в Лондоне, в Англии. И с раннего детства хотела стать балериной балета. В возрасте с 11 до 17 лет она училась в школе балета Bush Davies, прежде чем поймет, что она хочет стать поэтом-пессеником.

Она играла с несколькими группами, свою первую группу она назвала «Pink Ash» («Розовая зола»), которая состояла из шести парней и самой Lauren. Она назвала себя Susie Reptile. После отчаянного письма и поиска вдохновения, она закрылась на год в комнате и написала кучу песен. Lauren Christy появилась с 15 песнями и мечтами о контракте на публикацию. И прежде, чем год был закончен Christy, в 18 лет, подписала контракт с издателем EMI и была готова начать запись для PolyGram Records.

Lauren Christy обосновалась в Лос-Анджелесе. Выпустила свой дебютный полуавтобиографический альбом 19 февраля 1993 года. Она была воспитана на музыке «techno» материал подобный The Human League. Вы можете классифицировать музыку на этом первом альбоме как Adult Contemporary.

Decent Solo Piano

Ive always loved the dark beauty of this song. This is a decent solo piano version. Its well chorded to match the originals darkness and you can use those chords to strip it down to a nice accompany arrangement with a little work.
