Not A Content House

Not A Content House.

Meet the Members of the TikTok Collective Not a Content House

Aug. 5 2020, Updated 5:35 p.m. ET

TikTok users are definitely familiar with the Hype House, Sway House, Vault House, and more. Now, there is a new group entering the scene: Not a Content House. The all-girl group, which currently features four members, launched on Aug. 4. Keep reading to find out more about the new house and its members.

Meet the members in the TikTok collective Not a Content House.

As the viral app TikTok continues to launch the careers of many Gen Z social media stars, it’s not surprising that new collectives are popping up. Not a Content House just launched in August, announcing the four members via an Instagram post: «We are so excited to announce Not a Content House. Introducing Katie [Sigmond], Lauren [Kettering], Madi [Monroe] & Ava [Tortorici]!»

So, just who are the members?

Madi Monroe

Before growing her social media channels, Madi was already focused on having a career in the entertainment industry. The 16-year-old has acted in a few short films, including Revenge, My Two Left Feet, and Here After. She currently stars in the Brat TV show Attaway General as Nina.

The blonde beauty is in a relationship with fellow influencer Christopher Romero, and the two recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. Madi is also friends with fellow TikTok stars Charli D’Amelio and Avani Gregg.

Lauren Kettering

Lauren is known for posting lip-sync and dance videos on her TikTok page, which has garnered almost 4 million followers. She currently stars in the Brat series Attaway General. If you follow the 17-year-old on Instagram, you’ll see that she regularly shows off her fashionista style and her dance skills. It’s easy to see why Lauren is popular on TikTok — she has some killer dance moves!

Katie Sigmond

Katie currently boasts almost 3 million followers on TikTok and almost 600,000 on Instagram. The 18-year-old is regularly flaunting her bikini body and uploading videos of herself lip-syncing. From her social media pics, Katie loves to work out and has even revealed some of her fitness routine on Instagram.

Ava Tortorici

Before joining the new TikTok group Not a Content House, Ava was a beauty queen. In fact, she was crowned Miss Teen New Jersey in 2019. If you check out her social media channels, she regularly posts gorgeous selfies, snaps from her days as a pageant queen, and TikTok videos of herself dancing and acting in skits.

Judging from the girls’ social media snaps, the foursome already seem like total BFFs. We definitely can’t wait to see what type of content they create!

The Ultimate TikTok Houses List

Welcome to the 21st century, where TikTok is a career path and having a million followers means you get to move into a mansion with all of your friends. Creator founded TikTok houses are popping up every week while others seemingly disappear overnight. Tracking this strange and growing web of content houses is no small task, but that’s where Kapwing comes in. We’re proud to present you with the internet’s most complete list of TikTok houses.

TikTok houses are literal houses (often mansions) where primarily Gen-Z TikTok influencers live together and create videos for the social media platform. The idea of a content house is not new – YouTube collaboration houses such as Jake Paul’s Team 10 and the Clout House appeared years before. The idea was co-opted by popular TikTokers and led to the formation of the first two TikTok houses located in Los Angeles, California: the Hype House and Sway House. Membership in these houses helped some of the internet’s most popular personalities get their start, a list that includes Addison Rae, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Noah Beck, Chase Hudson, Daisy Keech, Avani Gregg, Bryce Hall, Griffin Johnson, and Josh Richards.

Brands and influencers are seeing how lucrative these content houses can be, and everyone wants in. But each new TikTok house brings a world of drama into the mix, and now that these houses are located not only in multiple cities, but multiple continents, you’re going to need a guide to the madness. This updated and alphabetically ordered TikTok houses masterlist links to each house’s TikTok account so you can check on everyone in the neighborhood.

However, in June 2020, Influences announced they were disassociating from the group due to contract breaches. Drip Crib members deny the claims and continue to operate. In early January 2021, Drip Crib was sued by their landlord after they had engaged in a months-long conflict instigated by «unpaid rent, pandemic partying, and reality TV show production,» according to Business Insider.

Mollee and Garrett both starred in Disney’s Teen Beach movie series, which has led fans to make jokes in the comments section of Pride House’s videos about how their TikTok is the non-existent Teen Beach 3. Dancer and popular internet personality Jojo Siwa has collaborated with the Pride House on multiple occasions after she opened up about her sexuality in late January 2021. Fans are wondering if Jojo is joining the Pride House, but it seems like that isn’t the case at this time.

Sway House

@theswayla
Status: Disbanded
Location: Los Angeles, California, USA

The Sway House was one of the first TikTok collab groups created in January 2020 and has a track record of making the news. Some of TikTok’s biggest male influencers are members of Sway, a list which includes Bryce Hall, Griffin Johnson, Josh Richards, Jaden Hossler, Noah Beck, Kio Cyr, Quinton Griggs, and Anthony Reeves. In July 2020, Josh, Griffin, and Noah made headlines when they joined and invested in Triller, a TikTok competitor app.

In August 2020, Sway House became infamous for hosting a party attended by hundreds of people despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The party, which was celebrating Bryce Hall’s 21st birthday, was ultimately shut down by the police, and the power was shut off at Bryce’s personal rental home soon after. Members’ romantic relationships have also been the subject of much drama: Bryce Hall had been involved with Addison Rae, and Griffin Johnson dated Dixie D’Amelio. While the latter pair’s relationship has soured, Addison and Bryce have since started dating again as confirmed on her YouTube channel. Dixie started dating Noah Beck and the two made their relationship public in October 2020.

After weeks of rumors that the Sway House had fallen apart, members explicitly confirmed in February 2021 that there’s «no real Sway» anymore and that it has effectively been disbanded. Members explained that as they rose to fame, they also started pursuing their own ventures, from podcasts to music careers, and one by one moved out of the physical house where they lived. The creators have remained close as they’ve gone their separate ways.

Top Talent House

@ttlamgmt
Status: Merged with Not a Content House to form Just a House
Location: Los Angeles, California, USA

Launched in October 2020, the Top Talent House is an all-girls team supported by a management agency called Top Talent. They post dance and lip-sync videos on their TikTok account, and seem to have relationships with other TikTok houses in Los Angeles such as Unxpectd House and Not a Content House as members appear in each other’s videos. The three members of the house are Anna Shumate, Eva Cudmore, and Katie Pego. Rachel Brockman was originally a member of the house as well but for unknown reasons has left the house a mere three weeks after launch. In January 2021, members stopped posting on their TikTok account as rumors of issues with the creators’ management team started surfacing. In February, they posted a YouTube video filmed with former members of Not a Content House saying that the issues were resolved as «some management members have been removed and peoples roles changed to create a better and healthier space for creators.» They announced that the two houses were merging and starting a new house called Just a House.

Unxpectd House

Valid Crib

Valid Crib is an all-Black creator house that consists of over 25 members. The twenty original members first met virtually in the spring of 2020, then started renting Airbnbs in July so they could make videos together in person. In November 2020, the crew moved into a seven bedroom house of their own, though not all members live in the house as some have yet to graduate high school. The house is now managed by Keith Dorsey, a chief executive of the talent management agency Young Guns Entertainment who also manages the Collab Crib, another creator house located in Atlanta. The Valid Crib receives no external funding and members split rent on the house. Along with the Collab Crib, the group aims to solidify Atlanta as a hub of creator talent.

The Vault House was created in May 2020 and is powered by Six Degrees of Influence, a talent management agency. Members include Cayman Rhodes, Jackson Krecoich, Kiera Vanias, Rave Vanias, Bryce Xavier, Peyton Sama, and Keith Pichardo.

Wave House

Launched in September 2020, the Wave House is known for their mystery and dramatic mask reveals of members. Their videos, filmed in and around the English mansion where they reside, give off an air of luxury and feature milk baths, snakes, and colored smoke. Many viewers are in awe of the house itself, which carries a price tag of 7 million U.S. dollars and has thirteen acres of land, a 100 inch TV, a dog bath, swimming pool, and spa, among other features.

Wayback House

@waybackhouse
Status: Active
Location: Cape Cod, Massachusetts

While most TikTok houses focus on the latest trends, the 10 teens that make up the Wayback House are trying to bring back old trends. They only use popular TikTok sounds from 2019 in their videos and frequently resurface familiar trends and dances from that era of TikTok. The group has grown their account to almost 500k followers in two months in their pursuit of creating a nostalgic community of creators.
