Philip Wesley.
Путь к игре фортепиано для Филипа был не совсем обычным. Можно сказать, что именно фортепиано нашло Филипа, а не наоборот.
Родился и вырос Филип в городеСент-Луис, штат Миссури. Свою музыкальную деятельность он начал в 16 лет, когда на рождество ему подарили первую гитару. Вдохновленный рок-музыкой и такими исполнителями как Эрик Джонсон, Джо Сатриани и Стиви Вэй, Филип погрузился в мир гитарной музыки и вскоре начал писать сам.
Поступив в колледж несколькими годами позже, он решил пойти по музыкальному пути. Во время учебы по счастливой случайности он встретился с Дэвидом Ланцом и был очарован его музыкой. Его длительные отношения с фортепиано начались в возрасте 20-ти лет.
«Люди слышат, что я никогда не играл на фортепиано до 20 лет, и они почти всегда поражаются. Я говорю людям, что это не слишком поздно, чтобы узнать что-то новое. Если у вас есть желание, страсть, преданность делу и желание узнать что-то, новые двери будут открыты для Вас. »
После окончания колледжа Филип работал сертифицированным психотерапевтом по лечению музыкой. За это время он начал писать свою собственную музыку, развивая свой музыкальный голос, а затем на свет появились его первые альбомы.
На данный момент существует четыре полноценных альбома:

The Approaching Night
A friend requested this music and wants to learn to play it. I have played it and find it a soothing source for personal expression. Some will find it difficult as will my friend, but together we can enjoy not only learning it but learning it better as we progress.
