I imagine u can rewrite an E7/B version from your work :

if I understood well «slash chords» comes from an inversion between notes in a chord then their numbers limited by number of notes inside a chord.

So I think it’s possible to dress a list of limited slash chords :

C has 3 notes (c g e) -> only 2 slash chords are possible : C/E C/G

C7 has 4 notes ( c g e a# ) -> only 3 slash chords are possible : C7/E C7/G C7/A#

I mean I begin to think it can’t exist C/B, C/A or C/G#, can’t it ? or it’s more cvomplex than a simple inversion QQ (??)

EDIT : just found the answer : «There are basically two types of slash chords: one is an inversion of the chord itself, this makes the bass note (notated on the right of the slash) the 3rd, 5th or 7th of the chord. In the other type of slash chord, the bass note functions as the actual root of the chord.»

I always found slash chords

I always found slash chords easy to play (or become easy after a transposing esp if it comes from piano score, Songpress is very helpfull to do this kind of job, http://web.skeed.it/index.php?q=songpress.html )

Now, to translate good from a song/tune, for ex : u hear well a C chord but something sounding «strange» not really like a pure C chord well.. since there is no logic no rules just open ears in «bass detection mode» ^^ and try the 11 possibilities with your guitar :

C/C# , C/D , C/D# , C/E , C/F , C/F# , C/G, C/G#, C/A , C/A# , C/B

and choose the best comparing with the song.

Another way I though is translate all the bass notes before chords, can take some time, but it must work too 🙂

My ears too are often unable to distinguish basic chords and slash chords (like E7 and E7/B). It’s why I use the web when I can, find the absolute f right chords by itsel is tricky -_-‘ A day we will be able, with natural training. or in using of a ugly sofware like «earmaster 6» but i’m not still ready for such torture C:

About non-singing tune chords must be grabbed from piano score, sometimes it s included inside the sheet music, tools are google or google image or also ask score trought http://www.pianofiles.com/ community.

More & more, I’m thinking : chords are really important to build an guitar tab («by ear» arrangement).

Dali — Moonlight Densetsu (OST Сейлор Мун / Sailor Moon)

Dali — это Dalit Eizner из центральных областей Израиля. Она начала осваивать вертушки в 2001 году. 2003 стал для нее прорывом . именно тогда она стала выступать в местных клубах Израиля, и вскоре начала учиться музыке и звуковому инжинирингу. Ее опыт композитора и певицы, полученный в израильской рок-группе, а также участие в качестве барабанщицы в ночном шоу на кабельном телевидении очень ей пригодились, когда ее попросили написать основной трек для крупнейшего фестиваля Израиля Rave-o-lution.
Треки Dali выходили на различных компиляциях, на ее дебютный трек .Colors Band. сделал ремикс сам Astrix. Все эти релизы получили невероятные отклики прессы, после которых Dali ничего не оставалось, как отправиться в мировое турне. Помимо этого, она все время участвует в самых крупных танцевальных событиях, таких как ‘Psychedelic Academy’ (Brixton/UK), ‘November Rain’ (Alexandra Palace/UK), Japan’s Gathering festival, Mexico’s «Infected Odyssey», рэйвах Бразилии и Израиля. Ее фирменный знак . невероятный сценический перфоманс, который буквально электризует толпу и заставляет вибрировать танцпол в такт ее звучанию. Каждое представление Dali не похоже на другое, и по духу, и по атмосфере.
Дебютный альбом Dali «Hectic» . это опьяняющий микс энергичного вокала и тяжелых ударных мелодий, спрессованных с пульсирующими основными линиями и динамичным глубоким ритмом.
Его начало — песня в стиле electro «Follow the signs», одно из вокальных произведений на альбоме, плавно подводит к остальным трекам, отражающих уникальный стиль Dali и ее энергетику. Гипнотический ремикс для Terry Poison (израильской женской рок-группы), и в завершении — совместные работы с транс-проектом Silent Hill и DJ Guy Salama.
