Literally sat by the piano for a good hour just to figure out the notes, because I just can’t tell what key this is in. It modulates quite a bit as well, and that just makes figuring out the key even more difficult. However, it really shows Kanno Yoko‘s mastery, because the modulations are done so smoothly, so beautifully, just.. magnificent.
The expression markings on the sheet music is pretty sparse this time round, because I figured the notes are the most important (am really hoping that the notes are helpful!). Expressions, dynamics, articulation, etc. are very subjective. So it’s all up to the individual.
